Basics of Cellular Biology
Describe the basics of cellular biology and list the properties that define stem cells. Identify the various types of cellular divisions and types of stem cells, along with their characteristics.
Platelet Rich Plasma
Describe Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and identify the growth factors and proteins that cause the natural healing cascade. List the currently treated conditions, such as orthopedic conditions, that are treated with Platelet Rich Plasma.
Regulatory environment for regenerative therapeutics
Describe the current Regulatory Environment for Regenerative Therapeutics. Review current state laws and regulations that influence the stem cell industry. Review the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDA) of 1938 and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and how they apply to stem cell therapy.
